DELICIOUS CUISINE
Delicious Cuisine is one of the few Taiwanese restaurants in Canada that offers traditional Taiwanese cuisine since 2002. After 11 years of service, the client decided to renovate their store and sought our help to rejuvenate their brand, hoping to expand their customer base.
The restaurant was established as a fusion of Peking-Sichuan-Taiwanese cuisine when it first opened. This reflected the influences of Chinese culinary on Taiwanese cuisines and has broadened the potential customer base for the new business. However, throughout the years, restaurants serving traditional cuisines originated from different provinces in China have increased significantly and have therefore decreased the market share for our client. Seeing this trend, we suggested to positioning Delicious Cuisine as an authentic Taiwanese restaurant to emphasize on its traditional roots and distinguish them from the other Chinese restaurants.
To help the public understand authentic Taiwanese cuisine besides the rather well-known bubble tea and Taiwan street food culture, we prepared a brief history of Taiwanese cuisine for client's first website.
The About page introduced the head chef and director of the restaurant
The Food Highlights page presented seven signature dishes with mouth-watering photos and descriptions to attract audience from around the world
Menu page with sorted food categories
We prepared this "Taiwanese Cuisine" page to introduce the major Taiwanese cooking methods and ingredients (auto rotate) for curious foodies and non-Asian with a true Taiwanese gastronomical reference.
