GOGO TEA CAFÉ

Gogo Tea Café was a Taiwanese bubble teahouse that adopted the practice of Japanese maid café where their waitresses are dressed in maid costumes. The novelty of the dressed-up waitresses generated high awareness to the café.  However, with the growing number of bubble tea restaurants in the vicinity, the café had to compete for market share with more than fancy uniforms.   

Instead of reconstructing the brand, we decided to explore their existing services to increase their competitiveness.  We used promotional materials to draw attention to their extensive menu and shifted the public’s association away from plain gimmick and bubble tea drinks.
